Gotta love the CHALK...

Each spring, our driveway turns into a giant coloring book! And apparently, I am the guest artist! We live in a large development so it is rare that MY children are the only children IN my driveway... Miss Michelle, could you draw a ..., Mommy, could you make a big....
My neat and tidy clean-freak husband PRAYS for rain!

My husband hates sidewalk chalk too, but mostly because the kids get all 'chalky' because they sit in it and scoot around, etc. It's funny how it stresses him!

Those are great. I have to say I just LOVE sidewalk chalk. Beats Sharpies any day.

Just make sure you don't use it on the siding. It doesn't come off of siding, no matter how hard it rains.

(Do the neighborhood kids really call you "Miss Michelle"? I thought that was a Southern thing.)

I just love chalk. I don't have to get all freaked out about the mess. It cleans up so easy. My girls have started drawing on the swingset and it's great because once it rains they get to start all over. I even found some drawing on my end table. Although I don't appreciate this and will be talking to someone about it, at least it comes off, unlike permanent marker!

That is so fun! I can't wait to have a concrete driveway again to play with chalk. My girls love it. I just wish I had an artistic bone in my body : )

Your sidewalk chalk drawings are way better than mine! I am lucky if you can recognize mine! Really I am commenting to ask if you have used any of the fancy chalk things they have now like the spray chalk or the super cool chalk on a giant stick so small kids can write while standing. So fun!

my mum hated that we drew all over the driveway but hey I was the mum so what I said was Ok was ok....

we had some great times out there....
glad to see others do too.

The next thing I went for was white board pens on the fridge side...that was a great message board.
Creativity is the sanity of mums/moms all over the world.
