Very sweet. I just can't even imagine...okay, now I'm all teary-eyed sitting here hugging my babies! Thanks for sharing that.

I am home alone (I am not complaining) but need to hug my little ones now.
Hey! I am a rather new reader of your blog and am a bit fuzzy on how you hooked up with Julian and his mom.
My daughter's dance teacher's 17 month old son was diagnosed just last week with a tumor (stage 4 or 5) in his eye. They took the eye out yesterday and it just does not look good. They do not know the Lord and it makes my heart BREAK! We live in TX but they are in PHilly receiving treatments. All this to say... any suggestions how I can help and encourage them? They are very private people. I am rambling...Baby R is so heavy on my heart that I just can't stand it!!! Watching the video just now started a flood in my heart and on my face.

We talk about Julian on a daily basis. We have JuJu breaks where we stop what we are doing and hug. I don't even have to call it that...my 5 year old just says..."JuJu break". How did you 'meet' the Avery's? Theresa

A few of you have asked...
I met Mimi through Dawn's blog (Because I Said So)...we hit it off and to this day swear it was GOD who brought us together. We have never laid eyes on each other. But call each other "friend."

Go back a few months (Dec) and there is a post that I talked about how the three of us became friends.

My heart just broke all over again watching that. Seeing him as a little baby and then as a healthy child with hair to his sweet smiling face. It just makes me so incredibly sad.

Mimi, I rec'd the necklace today and will fix it for you and get it mailed back. Thanks for the Julian's world bracelets. I will wear them with pride.

I so love that video, especially when Julian says, "I love you mama"...(sniff, sniff)

He's so sweet! They are in our prayers always, it takes years to get used to the change, and the pain never totally goes away, but that's ok, that's the by product of love. You wouldn't want it to totally go away. Thank goodness for video cameras!!!!Random kindness, I stayed up all night listening to a sick teenager talk about everything on her mind while getting her to hydrate herself again. The next day, when she wouldn't take her meds, I didn't kill her :)
