Morning Michelle! I guess my vote is for Multiple Mom from Friday's showcase. I cried when I read that story. I cried for the tiny life lost , but also for the three that were struggling to live.

I also want to comment on the mom that has 9 kids that was showcased with my story, way to go , more power to ya!!

Gosh, this is HARD. I really want to vote for MY story, but there were better ones out there. (DANG IT) I really must "give it up" for Beth - a home birth with no druge, no doctor, and then going to the hospital ALONE?!? Yep, Beth has to get my vote.
(In my very best Eeyore voice:)Guess I'll just have to buy my own bracelet...LOL

Oops, I meant to type "drugs" NOT "drugE".

I, too, really really wanted to vote for my own story, but really and truly it is only spectacular to me. I vote for Multiple Mom because she demonstrates the strength I don't believe that I would have had in her situation. She is a great example of God's mercy, tenderness and grace. May God continue to shower blessing upon her family!

I'm going to be selfish and vote for my own story!!! I vote for me, Beth!

The others are great and I cannot imagine having been in some of those labor/birthing rooms!

Thanks!

I'm voting for Karla. They are all great stories but I have a special bond with those c-section mommies!

I loved all the stories and am really happy that I wrote about mine in my blog. Now the real stories can be handed down for generations when I am too senile to remember!
I am voting for Multiple Mom T for her strength!

I'm going with Multiple Mom, too. That was the most precious story of sadness and loss and love and growth and putting together again.

I vote for ma_bunny. All of the stories are wonderful. However, I'm married to ma_bunny so I lived this one :) Not to mention the fact that I have to live with her so if I voted for anybody else I'd be in big trouble!!

First of all, I thought all the stories were great.

Destini - I can't believe you had the old 'mistaken identity' trick.
Kalynne - I knew yours was going to be a fun read just based on quantity. And also knowing you.
AlaneM - I guess my story was similar to yours, though without all the drama of yours.
MaBunny - Unbelievable story - God has really blessed you.
Beth - You are definitely stiff competition with the at home birth. I was honored to be showcased alongside your story.
Julie - I love stories about the 'little extras' in life and enjoyed that particular feature about your story.

...but Multiple Mom T gets my vote! I am sorry for your loss. I can't believe you wrote that gem in the midst of all you were going through at that time. I guess it probably helped.

Thanks most of all to Michelle for the excellent contest!

I wish I had known about your baby story contest. My story sounds exactly like your baby story. I almost bled to death after delivering the boys. They were born at 29 weeks and were taken right away to save their lives (Sam was 2 pounds 14 oz. and Jon was 3 pounds). I started bleeding and they couldn't stop it. My cervic tore and they still don't know why. It was very tense in the room (with a lot of STAT being yelled by the doctor - stat get me this, stat get me that, stat get me another doctor to help me!) George just stood there thinking I was going to die. Long story short, they did get the bleeding stopped and I recovered with lots of blood transfusions and high doses of iron. Since I was bleeding, they didn't take the time to make sure all the placenta was out and a month later I started bleeding profusely again and had to have emergency surgery. Not a fun delivery story, but I've got two beautiful boys.

I forgot to vote - I vote for Multiple Mom T - since I had twins and almost lost them and now what life in the NICU is like.

It looks like the winner has already been chosen but I will add my 2 cents and vote for Julie & Puckey. Good luck, everyone. Thanks for all of the giggles and tears. Theresa
