Sorry ladies,
not EVEN close...

I think we should get Dawn from BECAUSE I SAID SO (www.mom2my6pack.blogspot.com) over here - she has dealt with this before!!!

At first glance I thought it might be ancient Egyptian brain matter found in an embalming jar, but then I looked a little more closely and changed my mind. I started thinking maybe it was a cinnamon roll left from last Easter, but changed my mind again. Dog poop picked up on the way home from school? Nah. An experiment of Elmers glue, oatmeal, chocolate pudding, and pencil shavings? Oh wait, no that was MY son who made that. Hmmm, my final answer is moldy grapes. Am I close?

BWAH HAHA!!
As always - yuo have me in stitches...I must say, dear friend, you are getting warmer...

frosting covered raisins? or walnuts and raisins? whatever it is, it's been in that bag too long...it's starting to condensate.

I can't even imagine what it is, but I wouldn't want to touch it or smell it!

I guess kids don't really eat twinkies anymore, hehe. Just a guess...

Hmmm, it looks kind of cannoli-ish, and a little hot doggish near the bottom. But I'm sure that's not it. It looks too multicolored to be a banana. It is just plain GROSS, whatever it is! If Dawn is getting close with the moldy grapes... never mind, I'm stumped.
Does the correct guesser win a prize?

Hmmm. My 1 1/2 year old says it's a baby dog.
I'll guess it's either cherries or cherry tomatoes.

SubWife said...

peach?

Ok, I am a new comer! I would say mushrooms! Not sure why he would have mushrooms in his bag, but it is the best I could come up with!

Johane said...

I'd say plum myself... Or sliced apples?

Michelle Kemper Brownlow said...

Not pizza!
Not a baby dog- eeewwww! (hahaha)
Not a peach or a plum or mushrooms!

All good guesses!

Keep 'em comin'!

Is that white liquid milk? Milk and oreos? I can't believe I am spending this much time trying to figure it out. I need to get a life. Oh wait, I have a life! and a job! Something must be seriously wrong with me.

Hey, you listed all the wrong responses, but didn't list my guesses- cherries or cherry tomatoes... so...?

It looks some sort of round fruit, like blueberries?

I am a new comer! I am guessing a really really old Honey Bun??????? Love your blog!

tracey.becker1@gmail.com said...

Ok, this is really gross. I just stared at a moldy bag for way too long...

My guesses have been guessed, so I'll venture out and say banana slices...

how long were those BLACK CARROTS! in that bag! YUCK! Kind of like the piece of food I found under my girls bed... um, don't ask me what it was, all I know is that I picked it up with my hand (GROSS) to find wormies in it! (GROSSER!!!!) UGGGH! I dropped it right away and washed my hands... don't even ask me what the wormies were, I'm contending they were a baby worm family!

Melissa said...

Carrots? Never would have guessed it! Kind of reminds me how I used to tuck overdone grilled cheese sandwiches under the table leaf or into the radiator ... my parents found them all at once and there was hell to pay!

Lisa said...

LOL We just saw this post tonight and one of my kids right away said carrots. He must have been speaking from experience.
That reminds me, I better go check out all our backpacks.

Wow... wouldn't pick carrots either. Enjoyed thinking about what it was as I read the replies!
I would have thought a Debbie snack of some sort. I'm finding rotting fruit all the time around our house...yuck. Good thing for me my dog likes carrots! ha!

Ooooh gross!!! Carrots would not have been my first guess. And probably not my 10th either.
