WOW, I'm so excited to see the responses that are coming in. Like I said tomorrow it's NO SUGARY TREATS for me. That's my fast for Julian. I'm doing it until year end. Maybe by the time 2008 hits my sugar withdrawals will be over. God is so good. Praise HIM for his mighty works. Thank you Jesus for being with Julian and his family during this difficult time. You promise that if we believe you will answer. I stand in faith believing you will heal this sweet boy. What a testimony he will have to share. Off to eat the rest of the Halloween candy before 12AM CST. Wink

We're fasting and praying and hoping for Julian and his family here... Miracles are already happening as we all come together for this little man.

I've finally decided what I'm giving up for the fast! I'm a closet "smoker". Don't do it around the kids or even the hubby. I've decided to not only fast from them today but I'm going to give them up for good. I figured that to do this for Julians health, I should do something that will benefit my health too!

Michelle,

Thanks for all you're doing to help Julian and his family. It's such a sad story. I've been keeping Julian and his family in my prayers.

I just found this blog, and I want you to know we're praying. We have a dear friend who lost a daughter this past January to the same horrible disease. Prayerfully a cure will come soon for this and no more children will suffer from this.

Hey girlie. How'z your fasting going today. So far a success for me with the help of God. Of course the uneaten hand-deco sugar Christmas cookies were staring me down from the cabinet in the kitchen this morning, as was the chocolate milk, watermelon flavored candy canes on top of the fridge and the blueberry muffin mix that greated me from the pantry. I ran into Brenton and his mom and dad this morning while I was out shopping. He's doing good. He's now making bracelets that he's selling. I ordered $5. They are so cute, and he was so proud of himself. He said he has orders for 95 already. Praise the Lord Julian is pain free today. What a huge answer to prayer. I saw the coolest bumper sticker a few minutes ago when I was on the road it said: Where God Is Not, Anything Is Permissible. So true! We'll keep praying for all these special people in our lives who are touched by cancer. May God heal them all.

well, I did it! No soda today. I hope that my small sacrifice makes a difference! I wanted it....I was tempted...I thought about it. But, I just couldn't drink it. Knowing the fight this little guy is facing - somehow, that soda wasn't as important. We will be praying!

That was so cool to read that Julian woke with no pain. What an answer to prayer. I fasted today, and my family and I prayed for him during our morning prayer time on the way to my son's school, and then I prayed for him off and on throughout the day (when I felt hungry from the fast).

I will continue to keep this dear boy in my prayers. God is an AWESOME God. Just today, my dear friend got the very good news that the lumpectomy she had a couple of weeks ago was benign. This after having had a cancerous lump a few years ago! God is SO Good!
