I know my dear friend, Mimi, would not be offended if I continued to have give-a-ways in the GUESS WHAT I FOUND IN A LUNCHBOX TODAY or rambled on and on about the trouble I had trying to "relieve" myself while dodging thrown toys and being body-slammed by a two-year old in the MOMMY HAS TO POTTY wars or continued to write EMBARRASSING MOMENTS posts.
But, I guess I need to start back slowly so as not to give the impression I am somehow putting behind me what we all experienced this past week...
So, I thought I would post a photo of what Teresa won when she guessed "CARROTS" in the lunchbox game...
A set of 6 hand-made greeting cards with matching envelopes...Enjoy Teresa!!
I guess, while I am posting, I will also show you what happens when your 10 year old son tries to keep up with his ever-so-graceful-almost-twin sister at an ice rink...
YOUCHEE!!
**Update: Julian had a "so-so" day reports Mimi...he had some pain in his leg. PLEASE continue to pray and keep checking back for updates! We had 3 more donations overnight which brings our total to $1989.25!! WOW!! Thank you Jane from NJ, Cheryl from NY and Michaela from Germany!!**

So sorry!
Ouch! Poor baby.
Lively cards!
Lovely cards, too!
I really need to be awake and not in the dark (gotta love a laptop...I just pull it in to bed with me)
and it's 3:43 am here...your settings on PST. ?
No fear I had exactly the same predicament in 5th grade during the "fast race" at Good Times Skate Center. And I was WINNING the race until Tommy Toney tripped me up. HE broke HIS arm too though. Wink.
Oh no!!!!!!!! I hate that!!! At least he has a cool, green cast!!! :)
Ok, I have several things to address from your post. I'm just going to go down the list, in the order they arrived:
1. I have to be honest here. I am kind of glad that you're going to go back to the lighthearted posting. Though I did enjoy watching people come out of the woodwork to help out Mimi's family, it was very hard on me to think about that poor sweet little man. You know, as a mom, you start wondering the what ifs with your kids. It did open my eyes so much though and reminded me to love my babies a little more every day.
2. I too have problems with the potty. If I should happen to sneak off to the bathroom by myself, my son will stand outside the door and scream and bang until I let him in. I've learned that nothing is sacred anymore since I've had kids.
3. Those were CARROTS? I think I said grapes. Shoot. I would have loved those cards...
4. Ouch to the cast! I hope he's healing well!
Please don't be offended by my number 1 in my list. I just reread it and I'm worried it's going to sound bad. That's not the way I intended it.
Also, please come over for a visit to my place. I have a HUGE surprise for you in my latest post. You will be soooo proud!
NOT OFFENDED AT ALL!!!!!
I am proud of you "Linky Princess!"
Tooooo mushy for me !!! Just kidding
Ouch! Sorry about that arm...hope he is feeling better soon!
Can you tell me how you made those cards and envelopes? I think they are just TOO adorable...I'd like to give it a go...but I am creatively-challenged.
Shoot! I forgot to go back and check on the ... CARROTS! Eww.
Sorry about the cast. It's probably a good conversation piece for him though.
... and don't get me started on the potty issue. You just are not kidding with that one. Which, as always, is what makes it so funny.
Have a good weekend.
KR
Pam,
Hey it was so easy!!
I bought the ready-made pack of blank cards, cut some swatches of colored cardstock, added a few stickers of flowers and added eyelets with my NEW eyelet setter.
Pretty cute and easy!
I can't wait to get those cards!!! I LOVE them and will definitely use them!
Thanks so much!
