I am a blogging mom of three who sums up her chaotic days with humorous rants in between cleaning peanut butter off the ceiling fan and keeping my youngest occupied in the lazy Susan. Put your feet up and laugh at me. My neighbors do!

Jesus in the pan...
I teach 4th & 5th grade girls Sunday mornings at our church. Each month children K-5th grade learn about a different virtue through worship, Bible skits and life application ideas. My girls have charm bracelets that they wear each Sunday and I give them a charm each month if they can share an example of how they put that month's virtue to good use. Since September we have done Initiative, Respect, Uniqueness and this month we are learning PEACE.
This morning in the hectic chaos of a Monday-let's-get-back-into-the-sync-of-the-school-week, I was not feeling so PEACEful. The baby is sick, our older two were moving slower than usual and everyone requested a different breakfast (I shouldn't have asked). I had totally forgotten what I had taught my 4th & 5th girls less than 24 hours earlier.
But Jesus has a funny way of just showing up to remind me to "get with the program!"
...my day has been peaceful ever since His gentle nudge. Thank you, Lord!

What a cool nudge!! Better than the 2x4's I have been getting!!! LOL!!! GOD is very Cool!!!
Oh, I just had a thought...you could sell that on E-bay for a couple hundred dollars!! LOL!!!!
Great reminder!
Amen! - K
It is so hard when things are not going by our plan...I personally have a hard time remembering that my plan is not His plan. What a very cool reminder! Thanks for sharing
your title caught my eye :) I do get it!!! I have been lurking on your blog and love your hysterical humour.
Crap. Dina stole my idea about the ebay thing. Now I'm left with nothing witty to say. Crap...
You didn't eat it did you?
Tracy - you are making me feel bad - it is in the sink! I couldn't possibly have saved it, right?
I just blogged how I save EVERYTHING, didn't I? I guess, everything but cheese!
HAHA
that's probably egg-sactly what you needed to see right then, huh? :)
love it!!!
and thanks for sharing. i needed a little nudge myself today!
I think we all need the message of "Peace" at this time of year, especially. Thanks for reminding us of that! (and some people think you have to be "in" church to experience the hand of God, just goes to show it can happen in the least likely places!) :)
OK...so, some of you said I should sell my CHEESY CROSS on ebay...even friends who didn't see my blog but heard the story said I should.
I am thinking about it b/c I certainly wouldn't keep the $$, I would find a cause and donate it!
I was thinking (for those of you who read BECAUSE I SAID SO, you know about little Julian Avery) about someone who needs it more than me!!
What do you all think?
Hey Michelle,
How awesome! Isn't cool when you get a little reminder like that? I think I could've used one of those yesterday. Of course, my son probably would've just poured soap and nailpolish in the pan and obscured the image all together.
So, what's your plan for Julian?
Fabulous!
Happy Holidays!

The Lord always has a way to show us he is always with us!! God Bless
Wow. A small reminder with a big message. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
I've got chills!
I am a big believer in SIGNS so I think you were chosen to do something good with it.
I know that you will.
Hugs~
This is beautiful. I live what you're doing with it too. I've been following Julian and wondering what I could do for them, thanks for a way to help!
Michelle,
God's blessing to you and everyone doing something for someone so special.
I've stopped at your site b4 but this is first time commenting. Love your music - didn't know there were so many other people out there who listened to Christian music like my family.
Julian's family is in our prayers.
Best of luck with the auction - watching closely.

Don't you love it when you get little reminders like that? It can change your whole out look. Who would have thought---cheese!
:)
God is so very, very good!
May His peace be with you!
CHARMS!
What a great idea. I have a feeling we are teaching the same curriculum at church. Please email me and give me some ideas of what kind of charms you have used.
By the way, I put Julian forward to many of our congregation here in TX and we prayed fervently yesterday.
God is GOOD all of the time and all of the time God is GOOD! (but mostly he is GREAT)
