I am a blogging mom of three who sums up her chaotic days with humorous rants in between cleaning peanut butter off the ceiling fan and keeping my youngest occupied in the lazy Susan.
Put your feet up and laugh at me. My neighbors do!
at in-laws...
dial-up...
typing on old/loud keyboard...
in baby's room...
while he's sleeping...
complete darkness...
sending up smoke signals...
anyone?
anyone?

OMG, Michelle, I feel your pain. My mom lives in a senior housing complex, so when we go home to visit, I'm forever trying to keep our three kids (5, 3, 1) somewhat quiet, no jumping so the lady downstairs doesn't think we're coming through her roof, no running in the halls, etc. When you're not at your own house, it is VERY DIFFICULT.
And Starbucks?? I call it Mommy's Crack. And I'm serious...even the smell is enough to soothe me....
Hey, I just came from that same.exact.place! I spent ten days in slow computer, loud keyboard heck! The good news is that I made it out alive and with some sanity left and I know you can do it too! Have a great visit and come back soon!
OMG!!! Michelle you are too funny!!! Where exactly are the in-laws??? It is not like Morgantown is an advanced civilization!!! LOL!!!! Oh congrats on the adoption of your little energizer bunny!!! He is a blast! What a gift your family is to him and he is to your family! Will I see you at I Hope? If so can I reserve a seat with you and your Mom again!>?>! ;) Dina
Mmmm...Starbucks! I had to make my hubby learn how to make Java Chip frappuccino at home, since we just can't afford to spend nearly $5 a pop for one...Our 2 year old calls them "Daddyccinos"

...been there...home again now. Whew! Maybe there's a local support group for the withdrawl symptoms?

PS - I love, love, love the picture of your Pop-Pop. You did an incredible job, comparing the drawing to the photograph - you are very talented =)
