I am on a personal mission to bring the BIGGEST SMILE ever to this little face. His beautiful Mama, Peggy, gets some HUGE smiles out of him and so does his Daddy, Scott, and brother, Caden...but if we all come together and see what we can do...I think we can beat them all!
Coleman and his family are in IOWA. But they are "regulars" at the Ronald McDonald house in NYC.
I need YOU, those of you who kept reading even though tears are streaming down your face, to help me come up with an idea, give me a connection to make this Christmas one Coleman and Caden will never forget!
THE BESTEST EV-A!
Cause if TEAM LARSON has taught me ANYTHING it's to NE-VA DIV UP!
I did.
This is what they said:
Coleman explains, “It’s hard to be hooked up to a pole all day when it’s a sun-shiny day, ann be in your hos-pita woom all day when yoa don’t wanna be there ann wish ya tould be outside in-said, but NO, ya tan’t. I wish that no more tids would det tancer, tuz it's tewwible to haffa do all-a the suff what ya dotta do. If no more tids dot it, then we tould all yust be no-mal wif no more pokes."
Coleman’s twin Caden chimed in and gave his two cents, “Cancer is the worse day of my wife (life) because you don’t getta pway wif your brudder when ya weally want to. Sometimes the hospital is fun …if ya aren’t froe-in up wike Coleman does sometimes. I wish that no tids ever det tancer, so they tan haff fun all-a their days until they be daddies."

My prayers go out to Coleman and his family. I read the update over the weekend and just cried over the news.
Okay, between you and Dawn, I am in tears tonight, and I have cried enough already!
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU Michelle. Thank you, thank you thank you.
We love you!
Michelle,
I have been reading your blog for awhile but this is my first comment ... I have been reading Coleman's carepages as well. I am from Michigan and I know someone who recently left Michigan for a job in Iowa at JOHN DEERE. I am going to send an email to him with a link to your blog. I am hoping he can help because Coleman and his family deserve it!!! I cannot promise anything, but it is definitely worth a try!
I don't have a John Deere connection but I was thinking of a Charity Auction of some sort. Something on the order of a Cheesy Cross??? I will keep trying to think of something.

I just sent the company a "please please please" email with your link on it. Maybe if we all bombarded them ?? :)

Michelle, I left you a comment on FaceBook earlier, but will also leave one here. I have dedicated the sidebar of my blog to Coleman primarily, and childhood cancer. I will be updating his this afternoon with a new video. PAC2 changed the way I was doing it, so I want to make some changes.
Count me in, of course, on anything you do.

Oh what a special place the Larson family has in my heart!! Goodness I wish I knew the right person at John Deere to give Coleman and Caden a Christmas they'll NEVER forget, but unfortunately I don't. For those of us out here that don't have connections, here's an idea...go to www.johndeere.com, then "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page, then there is a link at the bottom that says "Our Company" and under that is a link "John Deere in the community." where you can e-mail them. I have NO clue if this will do anything, but heck, for those of us out here THAT have to do something for the amazing Larson family, it's worth a shot!
Love and prayers,

Lori's ideas is GREAT!
Bombarding JOhn Deere may be the way to go...
How about hitting them up for a HUGE donation to CURESEARCH in Coleman's name??!
I just left John Deere a message and hope there will be many more to come! You guys are great!!
I requested a donation in Coleman's name :)
I sent a note to JD and told them to consider the advertising that Coleman and Caden have done for them. That if they would have had to pay for all of that the company may be bankrupt now :o) I told them if was time for them to give back.

I "did my duty" and followed the link to John Deere and left my comments to them. I also copied your web address and passed this along to my Sunday School class and prayer partners. Thanks for all you're doing to help in the search for a cure.

Michelle,
I found you via Dawn. I have been following the Larsons for months and just love them all. I will try to keep checking in. If you think of an idea, I would be glad to help in any way I can.
I sat at my computer crying and praying for them today. They have touched my heart so much as has Mimi and other families I have found since I first found JuJu.

I just got an email back from John Deere. They said that they aren't able to help. Hopefully with enought emails, they will change their minds.
If you or someone you know uses the online "LinkedIn.com" business networking tool, you will be very likely to find someone - maybe even just the right contact. Have people you know that use LinkedIn.com search on John Deere. If they don't know someone directly, but they have a contact that knows someone, they can request an "introduction." It's an effective way to reach the right people. Good luck and keep fighting the good fight!

Hi Michelle,
I have been following Dawn's blog for the past month and that's how I got to your blog. I haven't finished reading up on Coleman's blog and updates. But have you or them tried the Make-A-Wish Foundation? My son was diagnosed with leukemia at the end of June and his primary nurse had told us about Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada which grants wishes to children with serious medical conditions. I searched the web and there is also one for the States - http://www.wish.org/. May be they can help?
Blessings,
Evelyn
